[audio:http://mhphoto.ie/audio/happy together.mp3|titles=Happy Together|artist=The Turtles]Ok, I’m really happy about todays post I have to admit! Firstly, Ruth and Aran were just super cool people and so easy to work with! Secondly, a Ballyvolane wedding… wowzers this is one of my favourite places in the world! Oh and it just received No.1 in the Sunday Times Travel ‘Ultimate 100 British & Irish Hotels’ pretty slick eh! Anyway back to Ruth and Aran… Having your ceremony on location and out in the forest at Ballyvolane makes things just that bit nicer for any couple. I guess not rushing from one place to the next when there’s an alternative ceremony location involved it means time is not of the essence and things can be taken at a little bit of a slower pace. This is great for me as it really gives me time to look about and capture the day while not running out of breath! But the venue adds to that too, with a relaxed but organised atmosphere and people that are just enjoying themselves playing garden games or chatting the day seems to just run smoother and the opportunities to get great images arise all around. The ceremony in the forest went just perfect and Ruth and Aran even arranged for everyone to sing a song “Happy Together” to be sung along with the band and everyone I mean everyone sang so well even Brian the celebrant joined in! make sure you play the song while you view the post for the full effect 😉 The garden reception the shots in the woods with the couple and we even explored the old farm builds for some shots meant we made the most of the time available. I’ll let the images do the talking so enjoy and thank you so much Ruth and Aran for choosing Moat Hill and also for being so damn cool!! enjoy….
