Ryan and Lola decided on Ireland for their Destination Wedding. Ryan is from the UK and Lola from Mexico, they came to Wicklow’s Clonwilliam House for their wedding. Ryan and Lola are great, they’re so warm and friendly with lots of laughs and chat. Their plan was to have a small wedding with just friends and family, the ceremony in Curtlestown and then portraits on the journey back to Clonwilliam in the Wicklow mountains and finally an intimate dinner in the evening.
When I arrived the day was very wet and wasn’t looking good, in fact it continued to rain all day… non stop. But this wasn’t going to stop these guys, they refused to let a little (or a lot of) rain put them off… as soon as we left the church we headed off for photos, outside… in the rain!! They wanted the photos, they embraced the rain and smiled and simply went for it! I feared for Lola’s amazing dress but in the end everything was fine. I know not everyone would do this and I can totally understand that but if you really want to get the photos and you’re up for it… you should just do it. You get one chance, one day and its worth it! Thanks guys for trusting me and being so brave!!
