Grainne & Steve | Barnabrow House | West Cork Wedding

July 11, 2013 / Weddings
[audio:http://mhphoto.ie/audio/Welcome Home.mp3|titles=Welcome Home|artist=Radical Face] May took us to Barnabrow house for the first time for Grainne & Steve’s wedding and what a cool funky place it is. I met Grainne & Steve at their lovely home in Dublin about a year and a half before their wedding and knew from chatting to them right there and then they were going to be a great couple to work with and it was going to be a fab wedding. They both love photography and wanted something relaxed but creative at the same time and I think that’s just what we captured. The early morning nerves never really crept in at Grainne’s house and I think her Dad helped with that! At one point I remembered asking if he was a professional comedian, that might have been the point at which most of Grainne’s neighbours were gathered around him hanging on his every word and laughing intensely at everything he said… The church at Ballycotton however was no joke, it was nothing short of stunning overlooking the sea and bay area (it does help that we got a cracker of a day). Afterwards we went (broke) into a local field for some shots at a haystack and then back to the fab Barnabrow house for their reception. The reception room at Barnabrow is just fantastic and really the whole setup just makes for a relaxing fun wedding…Lots of rooms, a deck outside and a large beautifully decorated reception area with long tables and a great staff, I highly recommend it! So thank you Grainne & Steve for letting us be part of your amazing wedding day… Enjoy!
