In June we travelled up Northern Ireland to Antrim along the north coastline to Ballintoy for Sarah Jayne and Peter’s wedding. The day started in Limepark cottages, a set of beautifully restored old farm buildings, a really cool place. The stone cottages are beautiful inside and out and I think it would be a lovely place to stay on a visit to Northern Ireland, I recommend! From the word go Sarah Jayne just smiled her way through her wedding day. Although the day started wet it really didn’t make a difference it was gonna be fun. Sarah Jayne travelled to the church in an open top VW beetle … well it wasn’t suppose to be open top but the driver seemed to like it that way, even in the rain… at one point I looked at Sarah Jayne sitting in the rain and said…eh? (see below :-)) After the ceremony the guests were treated to ice cream from “Heavenly Temptations” and then it was off to Ballintoy harbour for some photos. The view from Ballintoy harbour is UTTERLY beautiful what a place the north coast is… we had some good fun and clear weather along with Adam from “Adam Smyth Films” (good name) an awesome guy. A few shots at the harbour and we headed off to Lissanoure Castle. Lissanoure Castle is a gorgeous venue but the main hall where the guests eat is just so cool. I love the relaxed open feel to the room with the warm open log fires and wooden floors, it’s just… well warm! We had plenty of time for the guys to enjoy their reception and even take a few more images down by the lake before they went off to a tasty (I know cos I had some) hearty meal…. Thank you so much Sarah Jayne and Peter for being such a great couple and choosing us as your photographers… I wish you guys the best in your long, smile filled lives together!

What a superb wedding and so brilliantly shot. What really comes across in the images and animated gifs is that this was a day filled with fun and laughter. Super guys.
