Wedding Photography at Horetown House with Claire & Eoghan

October 24, 2018 / Weddings

This was my first wedding at Horetown House and it really didn’t disappoint. Its always exciting and unusual at this stage of my career to be at a venue for the first time in Ireland. Especially one that has been on the go for a while and as beautiful as Horetown.

Wedding Photography at Horetown House

Eoghan and Claire from the outset were a very chilled couple not looking for fuss but just to have a great day and a great party at the venue. Well that was the case from start to finish, they had a casual, seriously casual, meet/first-look in the morning followed by a few quick photos of their family to get formalities outta the way and the rest was gravy.

Niamh at Horetown house could not make your day anymore relaxed. Niamh is a person that knows how to take care of things but somehow does it with a discreet invisibility that only the best wedding co-ordinators know how, no fuss, no stress but yet it gets sorted. So needless to say the day was organised but felt very much free flowing and easy.

Eoghan and Claire could not have been more happy and excited to get married and this excitement came to a head after dinner when they absolutely smashed two look alike bride and groom pinata’s hanging from the front of Horetown’s door in front of all their guests. Basically smashing each other up… maybe that has a symbolic meaning..  you’re now mine and I love every peice of you? You’re just smashing? .. who knows it was just great craic, I’ll let you decide.

Thanks so much to the lovely and fun Claire and Eoghan for having me as their photographer and letting me be part of this brilliant day xoxo.
